Bauhaus-inspired Chess Set
During the spring of 2021, I got back access to the lab spaces, and after isolating for so long, I was eager to work on some fun projects again. The MIT Arts Studio opened a grant application for people to work on creative projects. Like everyone, I got a little bit into chess because of the show “The Queen’s Gambit” and decided that it was time to make my own chessboard. Inspired by the Bauhaus designs, I applied for some funding and created this fun chessboard using the laser cutter and other tools!
All projects start in SolidWorks
