During my PhD, the goal of my project was to come up with a method to design prosthetic legs for people with an above-knee amputation. After digging into the literature and asking different stakeholders about prosthetic foot design for people with an above-knee amputation, I realized that there are no feet designed specifically based on the needs of people with an above-knee amputation. So I came up with the Hip Trajectory Error (HTE) framework to design them!
